Beautiful traditional style house suitable for families, couples and small groups. Downstairs- double bed, mini fridge, cable TV, air con and separate bathroom with fresh hot and cold water Upstairs- queen bed, air con, mosquito net and small terrace The family room is set in a beautiful garden with 4 other bungalows. On arrival you will be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink whilst you settle in to your room. To start your day we will cook you a tasty breakfast of eggs or pancakes all served with fresh fruit salad, yogurt and muesli, and tea or coffee. In the reception area you have access to free tea and coffee. To reduce plastic on the island and do our little bit for the enviroment, you are able to refill your water bottle at reception for a small cost of 5,000 IDR for large and 2,500 IDR for small. I am currently overseas at present so I will not be there in person. However, rest assured you will be well looked after by Chiccy and her husband Hidir. Chiccy is the manager and speaks english. Both Chiccy and Hidir are there from breakfast until 5pm. They both stay overnight on the property and are very friendly and will help where they can. They will make you breakfast, help you rent a bike and they also offer a laundry service. Outside of the above hours if you need any help and Chiccy and Hidircant help you, you can either message me on Airbnb or call my mobile on +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Bale Kampung is located just on the outskirts of the village and a short walk from the harbour when you arrive. We are only a 7 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Close to local warungs and western restaurants. Dive shops are just a short walk away. Bale Kampungs close proximity to the village means that guests can sometimes hear villagers going about their daily routine and you may hear the call to prayer in the distance. Please note from time to time there can be a power failure all over the island. We have no control over this as the electric is supplied from Lombok. However, we do have a generator to provide you with electric. There are no cars on the island. The main mode of transport is bicycle. There are many places on the island to rent a bike. If biking is not your thing you can leisurely walk around the island in 1hr to 1hr 30 mins. The Gills have stunning sunsets and beautiful snorkelling. Snorkelling trips around the 3 islands and sunset boat trips can be arranged. Just ask at reception and we would be more than happy to assist you.
