This unit has doors connecting to two other separate studio units and can be opened for family or friends traveling with you. We receive very few complaints about sound but guests may hear others in units next door. An arctic entry with large closet and Alaska birch bench and coatrack keeps boots, rain gear, fishing gear, backpacks and outdoor gear organized at bay so you don't track snow or mud in and keep your socks dry and cozy. The full kitchen with pantry and dining area for up to 6 is the perfect place to have your coffee, tea, wine, Kodiak Brewery IPA, whatever your beverage of choice is, or play games with friends and family. 2 bedrooms offer queen size beds, closets with hangers and dressers, alarm clocks with white noise machines, and plenty of extra bedding. Which guest gets the bedroom with the TV in it is up to you! The bathroom offers a new vanity with hairdryer, cotton wipes, Q-tips, etc. along with the bath/shower and full washer/dryer set up. We guarantee you'll feel at home!. This private unit is entered from an oversized shared deck at the front of the house. There is a ton of storage space in this unit, but we're happy to offer more if needed. The driveway and lawn space around the side of the house are shared with other guests. The house is for guests only and we aim for giving guests as much privacy as possible, but we live just about a mile away if any needs arise. Located in a nice residential neighborhood at the base of Pillar Mountain. Behind the property is a small creek with ample salmonberry, Russian berry, and blueberry bushes in a lush field in front of a Sitka Spruce forest. There are roaming Kodiak coastal brown bears in the area, so make sure to make noise and practice bear awareness.
