A perfect getaway for the experienced fly fishermen or a romantic stay right on the Little Red River. Located directly on winkley shoals, you can walk right into the water to fish or just dip your feet into the water! If you would rather sit on one of the 2 decks and listen to the water rush over the rocks and bird watch, it’s all possible! You are welcome to explore my 60 acres , including a stocked pond and a great view of sugar loaf mountain. Experience the whole place all to yourself. No worries about close, noisy neighbors like many other locations. Some people may prefer that, but if you want space and privacy, Flyfishinn is the place for you! My property is rural so bug spray is recommended if you go out exploring! My place is also rustic so if you are expecting a fancy place you may need to look at another listing. Most of my guest find it delightful and comfortable but it is hard to please everyone. I am on a well so the water pressure is not like city water and does have a slight sulfur smell to it. I keep my decor funky but not fancy so my guest can be comfortable and not have to be nervous about doing any damage. I think it’s wonderful and hope you do too! The entire property! You will enter property off of river trail onto a gravel road. Follow road around pond and you will see house straight ahead! The price includes up to 4 guest. No more than 6 guest are allowed to stay ( excluding children from 2-8. Each guest or child over 4 is a additional charge of $25 a night. Pets are allowed (2 max) and none over 65 pounds. There will be a additional charge for each pet of $15.00 per night. I’m just over the bridge from the city limits but still very close to downtown, Greer’s ferry lake, the dam, eden isle (and Walmart!). All these locations are no more than 10-15 minutes away. If you bring a boat you are allowed to park it on my property (on gravel areas only) . There is Barrett access 1000 feet up river, about a 3 minute drive where you can launch your boat into the river. Heber Springs is a dry county and the nearest liquor store is 65 miles away so bring plenty of adult beverages if that’s what you like😊 The Little Red Rivers water flow is regulated by the core of engineers and can change at any time ! Sometimes they will be generating and the water will flow rapidly and at other times the water is low and calm and you can wade right onto the water.
