The second bedroom has 2 double beds and private bathroom with a gas shower. The third bedroom is located in a separate apartment behind the main house. It has a private bathroom, gas shower, large closet and it's own small kitchen and terrace. There is a roof terrace with beautiful views . The terrace is a great place to read or work. In the first floor there's lovely porch with a hammock and comfy garden furniture. There's a flower filled grassy garden and entretainment for kids. We can hold small family events and retreats. There's parking and catering available. This house is 10 minutes away from main street Santander and 15 minutes from public boats. The house is located inside a gated community but it's completely independent from the other houses. There's another house similar to this one in the same gated community, and it's possible to rent them together. They both sleep 22 people. Guests have access to all the house and private and shared parking. We pride ourselves on giving a personal family service. The neighborhood is in an area with large, luxoury houses, right by the main river and only 300m from the main shopping and tourist street. A very quiet and safe area, as is most of Panajachel. The house is a short walk from the "Playa Publica", (the public beach and boat dock) where there are many local restaurants providing great local cuisine and amazing views of the lake and volcanoes. Walking in to the main tourist area takes 5 minutes, and even less to the boats for lake trips. Also Tuc Tucs ( motorbike taxis) will pass by and charge less than $1 (Q5) per person to anywhere in Panajachel. Walking around "Pana" is very safe and enjoyable, even at night. We offer free use of 2 bikes for trips to get groceries or to drink a coffee in the center. You can order great dishes , such as a traditional Guatemalan stew called Pepian for all your group home made by Juana if you wish, at extra cost. There's cleaning service available for you. We include one cleaning every 3 days. If you'd like to have this service more often, the cleaning lady can go to the house at a reasonable rate. We want to promote sustainable tourism, so we use locally made natural products at the house. In the bathroom, there's eco-friendly personal care products like soap, shampoo and conditioner. In the kitchen, you'll find natural dish soap. Natural products are also used to clean the house and wash clothes. We also separate waste and recycle.
