The HoneySale Lodge established in 1952 has provided family memories for 3 generations. 200 feet of shoreline, private boat dock, orchards, gardens, swim platform, hot tub, fire pit and a golf course across the street. Two cabins and multiple out-buildings. Each cabin and all rooms equipped with bedding linens and necessities. The main gathering space is a log cabin (newer and nicer) down on the water. This has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, with a widows walk across to a room above the garage that has 3 double beds, table tennis, and various toys/games. The master is a loft with a King bed and separate bath, the downstairs bedrooms have a shared bath and one has a full bed, the other a bunk bed. Across the lawn up the hill (1 minute walk) is the original cabin (charming and rustic). The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. On the main level are two bedrooms -one room has a queen and the other has a bunk with full below and twin up top. On the lower level of the original cabin is the third bedroom aka "GirlsTown" and has its own 1/2 bathroom and a full sized bed. This bedroom also has direct outside access with a sitting area overlooking the property toward the water. "Boystown" is the out building just across the way (updated carriage house) this has an en-suite 3/4 bathroom, a king bed and set of bunks. Lockbox access will be granted upon booking or host will meet you onsite for check in. Local family members in months of July and August may be around to pick fruit in the small orchards and garden. Polson is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation in a natural amphitheater at the south end of Flathead Lake. This charming lakeside community is the trading center for one of Montana’s most fertile farming areas. In a prime cherry growing region and home to numerous cherry orchards, Polson celebrates with an annual Cherry Festival. The broad, sweeping Mission Valley south of Polson is bordered by the rugged, snow-capped Mission Mountains. The Flathead River that flows from Polson features whitewater rafting and Kerr Dam. The National Bison Range at Moiese with its large herds of bison, elk, deer, antelope and barn sheep is nearby, as well as the Ninepipes and Pablo Wildlife Refuges for bird watchers. You can walk into town for groceries, golf, or food. A vehicle would be helpful for large grocery runs.
