We are close to three large medical facilities in Vancouver, WA. A country road will bring you to a gated entrance. We have one parking spot inside the gated area for your car. The unit is self-contained with a private entrance and adjacent patio and shared lawn. Your ever-friendly hosts, Pete and Kathy, will be available for check-in and are happy to acquaint you with local activities and eateries. We are home (upper level) most of the time and otherwise available by phone. While staying in the unit, you may have a visitor or two, including our energetic dogs, Riley and Chip. They “patrol” the property watching out for rabbits and local deer. We have 8 chickens onsite, and a host of visiting birds. On rare occasions, you may even see our local owl in the evenings just after sunset. Located amidst farmland and friendly folk, our neighborhood is safe and quiet. Enjoy the setting with a walk or bring your bike and ride along country roads and visit our local boutique winery on weekends. Spring and summer months are full of events, concerts and the county fair at the local ampitheatre/fairgrounds (just a few miles away). Centrally located for day trips to the Columbia River Gorge or Mt. St. Helens, and quaint local towns to explore. Having a car or motorcycle is a must. We are about 20 miles from Portland International Airport, 15 miles from north Portland and a shorter drive from charming downtown Ridgefield, wineries, brew-pubs, seasonal farmer's market, restaurants, golf, hiking, boating/fishing and the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. This is a perfect location to stay with your family (2 adults and a child) as you look for your dream home, visit family, vacation, traveling professional job housing, and more!
