Located on our uppermost level, you will get your cardio in as you ascend nearly 100 stairs to achieve truly birds' eye views (even from the shower). The property consists of a pool and 18 units divided in two sections. To see the other units, please click on my profile. All units have amazing ocean views! Guests may use the common areas of the property which include a pool (unheated), decks, and a tropical palapa patio. Our neighborhood, La Poza, is named after the adjacent lagoon. The La Poza lagoon, which is a mixture of fresh and saltwater, attracts all kinds of birds seasonally which makes it a birdwatcher's paradise. The La Poza neighborhood is sparsely populated, has funky dirt streets and just a smattering of colorful homes. Restaurants and shops are just an 8 minute car ride into town. HOW FAR IS THE PROPERTY FROM TOWN? The town is about a 8 - 10 minute drive from the villas. It is about a 30 minute walk. DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR? Since we are off the beaten path over near the ocean, having a rental car is very highly suggested. CAN I WALK TO THE BEACH FROM THE VILLAS? Yes, there is a dirt path down the hillside that leads over to the beach. It is about a 5-8 min hike. CAN I SWIM AT THE BEACH ADJACENT TO THE PROPERTY? La Poza beach, which is located below our property is NOT a swimming beach. It is gorgeous and great for taking long walks, but the currents are very strong and the waves crash directly on the beach. In fact, none of the beaches in Todos Santos are recommended for swimming. Renting a car is HIGHLY recommended. There are very few taxis in town, they need to be scheduled in advance and they can get pricey. There are no Ubers or Lyfts in Todos Santos. Please note that there are many steps throughout the property. HOW FAR IS THE PROPERTY FROM TOWN? The town is about a 7-9 minute drive from the villas. It is about a 30-40 minute walk (not advisable at night). Please see our LOCATION tab. DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR? Yes! Since we are located off the beaten path, we HIGHLY recommend that you rent a car. There are very few taxis in town and we cannot guarantee their availability nor do we schedule them. IS THERE A RESTAURANT OR BAR ON THE PREMISES? No, there isn't. Restaurants and bars are located in town. CAN I WALK TO THE BEACH FROM THE VILLAS? Yes, there is a dirt path down the hillside that leads over to the beach. It is about an 8 min hike. You will find a restaurant and beach equipment rentals there. HOW FAR TO THE NEAREST SURF BREAK? Cerritos Beach (15 min drive south of town off hwy 19) and La Pastora Beach (15 min drive north of town) WHAT IS THE WIFI LIKE? Our wifi speed ranges from 5mbps, to 30mbps. Most of the time we have no problem with the internet, but because of the remoteness of our little town and how the signal can be affected by weather, we cannot guarantee that the internet strength will be enough for what your work will require. ARE CLEANING SERVICES OFFERED? We are happy to offer twice per week complimentary cleaning starting with stays of four nights or longer. IS THE POOL HEATED? Sorry but no. It can get pretty brisk in the winter months, but is perfect for the Summer! IS THIS A KID-FRIENDLY PROPERTY? Although we love little ones, guests must be 15 years or older. IS THIS A PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY? Four-legged friends are awesome, but we do not accept animals of any kind. CAN I HAVE A PARTY OR EVENT? Loud gatherings and events are not allowed. Please contact us about renting the entire space. IS THIS PROPERTY WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE? We are so sorry, but no. This is a steep hillside property with many stairs. Our property is also not suitable for guests with mobility issues. DO YOU PROVIDE DRINKING WATER? Yes! You will find glass bottles with filtered water in your unit. You can refill them at one of our water refill stations. CAN I HAVE GUESTS OVER? Registered guests only please.
