Renovated historic farmhouse set on 1/2 acre adjacent to a golf course provides an idyllic setting for a North Fork getaway. Our 2,400 sq foot home is sunny and inviting, and just minutes away from the best that North Fork has to offer. Built in 1875, our home features beautiful hardwood floors and charming historic accents, with modern updates. The main house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and the newly renovated guest house has additional sleeping accommodations as well as another full bath and kitchenette. Ample backyard space makes it perfect for families, couples, or small groups. The open and airy kitchen has counter seating, and a separate dining room provides a more formal setting. The backyard also includes a full dining table underneath a pergola (complete with strung lights) with seating for up to 8 people. A gas grill is also available on site. Our hammock adds extra charm and another way to relax. Guests will will be given a unique entry code for your stay. You have access to the full property, including all 3 bedrooms, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, dining room, and 2 full baths. Beds all have brand new mattresses and linens. Living room includes big screen tv with Apple TV. Appliances include washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Central heating and air conditioning. Full use of the backyard, outdoor furniture and grill. Driveway can accommodate 4-5 cars. As much as you need via phone, text or email. In the immediate area is award-winning Kontokosta Winery, which has the best view overlooking the Sound. We are also just down the road from Lavender By the Bay lavender farm. A short 5 minute drive to Greenport Village restaurants, shopping, waterfront, water tours, and ferries to Shelter Island. Beaches, farm stands, and other wineries are just a few of the amazing experiences to be had in the area. We are a 5 minute drive to Sep’s farm stand in East Marion and Latham’s farm stand just a bit further down the road in Orient. Orient Beach State Park, just 8 minutes away, is a big beach destination with playgrounds, picnic tables, grill stations and hiking trails. The Cross Sound Ferry can also be picked up there for trips to New London or Block Island.
