A beautifully restored home with breathtaking views from huge windows on every floor that look out to a rolling lawn, the sea, and Libby Island lighthouse in the distance. The third floor has a 1 full bed and 1 King bed which would make a nice family bedroom with plenty of space to spread out, a sitting area, and room to play. For dining, a nice sized dining room adjoins the kitchen. There is also a screened in porch with a table and chairs. There are 2 adjoining living rooms for socializing or curling up with a book. Most every room has large, beautiful windows to take advantage of the extraordinary Maine light There is parking for several cars in front of the house. The back of the house has a deck that runs along the length of the house. The screen porch is a great place to dine during the buggy times. The top floor is apartment sized with a lovely private place to work at a large table, or curl up on the sofa to read and contemplate and also has amazing views. The house also has an extensive library of great works of literature I live 6 hours away, but I have a property manager 1/2 mile away if any issues come up. The house is located on a very quiet road that is great for walking. Water access is 1/2 mile away on Cow Point. You can also go 2 miles to Roque Bluffs State Park for the public beach and trails. Roque Bluffs is about 10 miles from Machias which is where the supermarket, hospital etc is located. We have Starlink and regular DSL internet services.
