THIS BEAUTIFUL ONE bedroom, one bath townhouse is perfectly located with a pool view and lovely views of the gulf from the deck. The kitchen was recently updated and has all new appliances. Enjoy your coffee on the deck while enjoying the breeze during the day and gazing at the stars by night. Enjoy a swim in the community pool, lounge on the pool deck, or cook dinner on the outdoor grills. This comfortable and clean townhouse awaits your visit! This one bedroom/one bath townhouse is located at 300 Ocean Mile - a 99-unit beachfront community located at the east end of the island. The townhouse is built on pilings so you must go up stairs (~20) to enter and on that level is the bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen (located downstairs - 8 stairs) is fully equipped and is open to the living and dining room. There is a queen size bed upstairs in the bedroom and a pull-out queen size sofa bed in the living room. You can sit on the deck or walk down the stairs (11 stairs) to the community pool. There are board walks for beach access. St. George Island is peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Come here to unwind. There is also a biking trail within a few feet of the parking area. There is private parking (2 cars end to end) under the townhouse. Guests have access to our entire place, plus all common areas of the community that includes two pools, BBQ area, boardwalks, and the beach. Please note: Golf carts are not allowed on East Gulf Beach Dr where our community is located. This is a nonsmoking property. No pets or parties are allowed. Parking is located under each unit. There is space for 2 cars if the front car pulls all the way forward. All units are individually owned. We don't live on the island, but we are there regularly to check on the place or enjoy it ourselves. We won't be there to check you in, but have a digital lock for easy access. We are also available 24/7 on our cell phones -- so if there is an issue we can get it handled right away. St. George Island is just that - an island. We have two small groceries stores, a gas station, and several great restaurants. Take a short ride over the bridge and enjoy additional shopping and restaurants in East Point or Apalachicola. One of the greatest assets of the island is very little commercial business. It truly is an island in a tropical setting. Driving around is simple because there is one main road and very light traffic. It is a very calm and peaceful area. Please note: golf carts aren't allowed on East Gulf Beach Drive and that is where the townhouse is located. There are areas where golf carts are allowed on the island, but there isn't access from 300 Ocean Mile to those areas. Due to the tropical climate, St. George Island is prone to bugs and wildlife. The Salty Shore on SGI receives regular pest control service to minimize unwanted critters, but during certain seasons and when the doors are left open - an uninvited guest might come for a visit.
