Close to ISU and hiking trails. Not suitable for small children due to stairs and cleaning supplies stored under sinks. This sweet historic apartment was the home of Virginia "Babe" Connelly, a local socialite, and her hubby Edward Connelly, secretary to the Union Pacific Railroad Superintendent. While the couple had no children, Babe hosted many dinners and afternoon teas here in her home. Our home here is a fully furnished self-contained apartment where we want you to feel safe and comfortable. Guests enjoy a TV with Roku (please bring your own account info), wireless Internet, fully stocked kitchen, and linens. We are proud native Pocatellans who would love to be your hosts. We are generally hands-off to respect your privacy, but are nearby to respond to your needs. Quiet residential old-town neighborhood and within 2 miles of ISU. Easy driving on local streets; city bus access 1.5 blocks at nearby Marshall Public Library; and walking distance to historic downtown, restaurants, drug store, antique shopping, 1st Friday monthly Art Walks, and Farmers' Market spring-fall Wednesdays 4-8pm and Saturdays 9am-1pm. Pocatello is home to Idaho State University and is the gateway to Lava Hot Springs, Island Park, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone Park, Grand Teton Nat'l Park, Craters of the Moon, and the entire northwest USA. Many more local recreational opportunities with City of Poc. Outdoor Parks and Rec, ISU Outdoor program, and Portneuf Wellness Complex.
