THE APARTMENT: Three bedroom, two bath apartment (including a bathtub), well-designed and full of light. On quiet side of a modern building (built in 2006), near bustling Magdiel Square. Kitchen, dining and living area "great room" can accommodate large groups for meal times. Master bedroom (sleeps two) has queen bed, and adjoining bathroom with shower, clothing wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelf, two nightstands. Middle bedroom (sleeps one or two) has double bed, desk, bookshelf, and wardrobe. Front bedroom (sleeps one or two) has twin bed and twin trundle, desk, bookshelf, nightstand, and wardrobe. Comfortable sofa bed in living room sleeps two extra people/guests (up to eight people total in apartment). The apartment includes a designated parking spot with secure entry. Additional parking on the street is available. AMENITIES: Guests have access to a fully appointed kitchen (including large refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle and a wide variety of cooking utensils and gadgets). Enjoy all the comforts of home: computer, WiFi, TV, stereo, cable, washer, dryer, and an A/C system with controls in every room. Apartment comes with plenty of fresh linens, towels, and tablecloths. Blinds and rolling shutters throughout provide privacy and comfort, day and night. Secure building with a video intercom for guest access. HOUSEKEEPING: Upon guests' arrival, the apartment manager will walk guests through the apartment, and share tips for a pleasant stay. The cleaning fee covers cleaning before checking in. Guests may arrange, at their own expense, to have our cleaning service come during their stay. Any issues which arise during your stay will be quickly taken care of by our local apartment manager. Absolutely no smoking is allowed. There are several coffee shops and restaurants in the neighborhood (less than 2 blocks away). There are also convenience stores and small markets in the neighborhood, some open 24 hours and some open on Saturdays (not very common in Israel). There are two good bakeries and a park with swings for children, all in the same area. If you need a bank -- there are two! Pizza, Sushi or other foods also available in the Magdiel Square GETTING AROUND: There is convenient access (either on foot or by car) to both train stations and bus stops. Highway 6 is a five minutes drive, offering rapid means to Haifa to the north or Jerusalem to the southeast, in less than an hour. Tel Aviv is a mere 13-15 kilometers away and can be reached either by bus, train, taxi or private car. It is a twenty-minute drive to the beach outside of commute times. The apartment is in the Magdiel neighborhood of Hod Hasharon. Hod Hasharon was formed in 1964 as four small villages---Magdiel, Kfar Hadar, Ramat Hadar and Ramataim---were united into one municipality. Founded in the 1920's, these four villages were for decades small agricultural communities growing citrus groves and orchards in the fertile terrain of the Sharon region, in the center of Israel a short 13 kilometers to the northeast of Tel Aviv. Officially declared a city in 1990, Hod Hasharon has experienced rapid growth with a mixed land use pattern of parks, orchards, industrial parks, high-density residential neighborhoods and the low-density neighborhoods of the original historic villages. The city still retains a pleasant 'village' atmosphere while offering all the amenities of a modern urban environment.
