Our two-bedroom home is located just west of downtown Columbia in a sweet family neighborhood of bungalows. Our home comfortably accommodates four guests. Our mid-century style house has tons of natural light and has a artsy, minimalist feel. You will be just a 15 minute walk to the public library, or a 20 minute walk to downtown. If you have a car, it's about 3 minutes. :) Our home is kid-friendly with a lovely sun / play room off the kitchen. Our main bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and closet. Our second bedroom has a queen size bed, via a sofa pull out, but it's very comfortable (made by Luonto and is a firm latex). This bed is always out, so it will be fully set up and ready. Our full bathroom includes a converted claw foot tub to shower. We have a large fenced-in backyard that is perfect for kids (basketball hoop, frisbees, scooter, balls available in the garage). There may be things to pick in our garden - tomatoes, beans, herbs could be ready! We have a smart TV that has apps like Netflix and Hulu. You just have to sign in! Guests can access everything on the first floor (and basement for washer/dryer). We do keep some of our personal belongings on the second floor, so it's unavailable to guests. Claire is the house manager and will take care of everything from check-in to check-out! Our neighborhood is a short 15 minute walk to downtown Columbia. We are surrounded by unique bungalow style houses with a mix of families, graduate students and artists! There are lots of cool native plant gardens to check out around our neighborhood and our street is a mecca for dog walkers. You can go 15 minutes on the front porch without seeing someone walking their four legged friend. :) There is a bus line on Worley just seven houses from our house. The bus line takes you downtown or south of town or around west Broadway. An Uber/Lyft ride downtown from our house usually ranges from $7 - $10.
