Cool, vibrant and newly remodeled with a youthful edge, this functional home located in Mar Mkhael is enveloped in light & comfort. Along with its crisp colorful walls, vintage floors & high ceilings, the house comes complete with 1 living room, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 for men/1 for women), 3 bedrooms (2 with balconies), a laundry room & a terrace all newly remodeled to maintain its timeless style. This mid-century home provides all the elements for an easy & practical stay. The building goes back to the mid 90's. The house was recently fully refurbished to preserve its vintage feel making it a typical Lebanese heritage home. Usually I do stay in one of the bedrooms and share the remaining 2 with the guests. Nevertheless whenever the rooms are not occupied , the house can be booked entirely. I was born and raised in the area, you're in good hands! I own a Western Union store in the ground floor of the building, for any money transfer or mobile phone services you might need. If you have ever been invited to a Lebanese breakfast, chances are you know what a Mankoushi is; if not it doesn't matter because we will gladly serve it for you topped with cheese, thyme, vegetables or meat on your first morning from 6h am till 12h pm (Noon) at "Chez Ghassan" bakery also owned by my family, at the corner of the street. That being said, I am always around for any assistance needed, and if for some reason I'm not, I am a phone call away and my employees will be more than happy to help you. Since the neighborhood is lively, sound proofing foam is installed on the windows and both balcony doors to make the stay as quite as possible. The place is at walking distance from pubs, restaurants, art galleries and touristic places. Grocery store is right across the street. The house is located at the intersection of two of Beirut biggest highways, which makes all public transport accessible in less than a minute walk.
