Step into one of Helena's beautifully restored Victorian mansions, with its high ceilings and unique woodwork, in the shadow of Montana's most impressive Cathedral. In a small city known for its art, it is but a short walk downtown to museums, galleries, restaurants, theaters, shops of all kinds. This 15-room Queen Anne Victorian on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1892, and is conveniently located 3 miles from the airport, 1 mile or so to St. Peter's Hospital and Montana State Capital complexes, and 1 mile or less to Carroll College and University of Montana, Helena Campus. It is just steps to many restaurants, The Myrna Loy Theater, the Grandstreet Theatre, the Cinemark Movie house, The Holter Museum of Art and other museums. There are numerous churches within walking distance, and it is only 3 blocks from downtown Helena. This is quite a large room with a king size bed, a dresser, a comfy settee, and an antique secretary desk, as well as a small apartment size refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Guest bath is down the hall and shared with other guests if there are any others, as well as another half bath also on the second floor. Large guest bath has a claw foot tub. There is a separate laundry area, shared kitchen, free wifi, and Dish network tv. Street parking on quiet street. Owners are a retired Administrative Law Judge who worked for Labor and Industry for the State of Montana, and a retired RN and Realtor. Guests can use the kitchen, separate laundry, anywhere on the first or second floors of the house, (with the exception of Terry's study), back yard and patio, or sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch. We are just 2 blocks from the historic downtown of Helena's Last Chance Gulch, with restaurants, shops, museums, cinema, library and banks. It is also a short walk to the Capital complex, which has the Montana Historical Society, and the beautiful capital building. Our immediate neighborhood is quiet, with an eclectic collection of different personal residences - including several impressive mansions.
