Located on Kite Beach in beautiful Cabarete, this is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, newly redesigned oceanfront condo with high-speed internet. The outdoor hanging bed, miles of beautiful beaches and onsite pool give guests the perfect opportunity to relax. But if you are an adventure seeker, kiting is right in front of your door (literally) and beach restaurants are just a few minutes away. The large balcony overlooking Kite Beach is fully furnished with a dining table, couch and coffee table set, and (our favorite) a hanging bed from which you can watch pro kite surfers fly high. Cook a feast in the large kitchen complete with modern stainless steel appliances and gas stove. Relax in the spacious living room and enjoy Netflix on the big screen TV, or unwind in the large bathtub in the master bathroom. The large pool with sun beds grill is just steps away and overlooks kite beach. Kite Club is right next door if you are looking to grab some food, rent kiting or paddle boarding gear, or want to take lessons. The water in the apartment is filtered and potable, so feel free to drink directly from the tap. The wifi is reliable and we consistently use it for video conferencing and streaming. The building comes with a generator so you don't need to worry about power outages. While there are no designated parking spots, free and secure parking is available on the property. Guests are welcome to use any public area on the property. you can park in any open space (but not garages), the pool, and any other outdoor garden area. Guests can contact me anytime, we also have our wonderful property manager, Reiner in Cabarete, in case you need on-site support. We are always happy to help our with questions, bookings or whatever else is needed to make sure you have an amazing stay. Located on the upwind side of Kite Beach, you'll enjoy watching the kite surfers directly from the balcony. If you'd like to partake in the sport, Kite Club is just next door and provides lessons, gear storage, a bar, a restaurant, and good vibes for just hanging out and even meeting some pro kite surfers. If surfing is more to your liking, Encuentro beach is a 5 min drive and offers waves for all levels. Downtown Cabarete is full of lively restaurants and shops and is a 3 min drive or taxi ride away or 20 min beach walk. Our apartment is centrally located and only a few minutes drive from the local grocery store, downtown Cabarete, and the surf beach Encuentro. Scooter and car rentals are a good way to get around. Or, if you rather have someone else do the driving, Motoconchos (motorcycle taxis), wait outside of the complex, and charge 50-100 pesos ($1 - $2) for short rides. We can also provide a taxi driver's contact info if that's preferred. Puerto Plata airport is 30min from Cabarete ($35 Taxi ride) and Santiago Airport is 2h away. We are happy to help you arrange a driver. Please note that the neighbour's cat Mona likes to stop by and visit from time to time. She is very friendly and well-fed.
