Come enjoy our custom handcrafted Pine Log lodge! The entryway opens to a spacious living room boasting a newly added indoor/outdoor fireplace. There’s ample seating at the log dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s an en-suite bedroom on the main floor with a jacuzzi and two large en-suite bedrooms on the second floor, one also has a jacuzzi. Booking 7-10 guests includes the private guest loft with 2nd kitchen, laundry & deck. Please note children under 13 or pets are not allowed. The Lodge is simply stunning, built with over 80 hand-hewn, locally sourced Pines and a matching garage to boot! Our 40 acres is a small sample of the majestic northern woods. We have a small pond with a fire pit to enjoy the night sky and roast marshmallows. You can also see more info on the property at superiorgatewaylodge . com The new guest loft is also available and can accommodate up to 4 guests so if you book for 7-10 guests, 6 will stay in the lodge and 1-4 in the loft just 100 ft away. You will also have access to new washer/dryer for your stay. Self-serve continental breakfast will be available in the main lodge. For winter guests we’re are 1 mile from the CJ Ramstad/North Shore State Trail entrance so bring your trailer and snowmobile right from the lodge - weather permitting! We have lots of future plans for walking trails along an existing 1/2 mile access road to the back acreage so check back soon. We'll email you prior to your stay and include the passcode to enter the main door to the lodge. Inside you will have a welcome packet and your keys to your rooms will be on the key rack behind the door. If you also book the guest loft, you will get a second keypad passcode for the loft. Owners, Beth and Jeff will be available should you need them as they reside in the basement level of the lodge. Should you need anything we will be there to help. The new guest loft is also available and can accommodate up to 4 guests so if you have booked for 7-10 guests, 6 will be in the lodge and 1-4 in the loft accordingly. We also have a rescue Samoyed named Kira. She stays in the basement level with us and will not be in the main areas for your stay. We are 8 miles West of Two Harbors on a dead end road and the temperature can differ as much as 10-15 degrees warmer off the lake. There can be fog in Two Harbors and sun at the lodge as our elevation rises quickly even 250 ft from one end of our 40 acres to the other. Although you’ll need a vehicle to get here, once here you’ll want a mountain bike, hiking boots and snowshoes! Self-Serve Continental breakfast offered.
