The apartment is newly furnished. Located right in-front of the biggest shopping mall in Egypt "City Stars" and 10 min. from the airport. Perfectly located in one of the most active neighborhoods in Cairo, called Nasr City. The apartment is 90 m2, with 1 big living room, 2 bedrooms (1 big, 1 small), 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom. The living room and 2 bedrooms are all air conditioned. NB. The apartment is on the 4th floor with NO elevator! You would have access to the whole flat. You will have one set of keys to the apartment and building so you can come and leave whenever you like. You can use the kitchen and cook if you like (although I would recommend trying out some restaurants close by, they offer delivery service 24/7) Totally flexible! If you like, and I have some free time while you're here, we can go out together and show you around with my car. If you prefer privacy, I can just give you some recommendations on where to go and how to get there. You can reach me anytime on my phone and I can come in person if needed. All kinds of stores are 2-5 minutes walk: supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, mobile shops all provide 24/7 home delivery service for free. Ask me for some numbers if you will need that. You can take a taxi right in-front of the building. Make sure to take the white taxis (they have taxi meters...1 km is around 1.25 EGP), and not the black and white taxis! Buses and mini-buses are 3 minutes walk from Makram Ebeid street and they go to every where in Cairo from there (from 1 to 3 EGP per person depending on the destination). Free private parking space available. Please ask for the garage key if you have a car. A taxi from the airport to home is around 10-15 EUR (100-150 EGP) and DO NOT pay more than that! agree with the taxi driver first before you leave the airport. This is already too much, but taxis at the aiport are expensive cuz they pay some fees. Usually taxis are very cheap compared to other countries, for example a taxi ride would be around 2 EUR if your destination is in Nasr City. Uber has recently launched in Egypt and works pretty good and cheap too! Please note that the apartment is located on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Therefore not recommended for people with knee problems. There is a water problem in all Egypt, so the water can stop running for an hour or so once every few days (again this is in almost all Cairo). **** UPDATE**** -A new water motor is now installed, so warm water is available all the time!
