Sunny Old Corner is not only a place, it's a vibe! The house not only has a perfect location: surrounded by many street food vendors and famous coffee shops, as well as easy access to taxi/bus; but also out-stands for its unique design, making it a perfect gather space for group of up to 4 people. It is probably impossible to find such modern designed space, in the heart of ancient Hanoi, with designated areas for smoking/reading/chit chatting times, but still, enough room for privacy. Sunny Old Corner is located on the second floor of a street-front building, built by the French during their colonial period. The house now has its entire inner space remodeled, bringing a fresh, modern soul into a calm and ancient body. - Going into a small alley, guests can follow the stairs to the second floor, where Sunny Old Corner is located. During the short short walk, the true life of “Hanoians” slowly reveals itself. - Unlike any other places in the city, loft-styled Sunny Old Corner catches a whole lot of sunlight in the daytime. Don't matter if it's sunny, rainy or windy; the house is a cozy nest that ensures you comfort and relaxing time when staying in. - The first level of the house is where our: living room, kitchen and bathroom are located. Kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove top, a medium-sized fridge, pots, pans and utensils. Bathroom has everything you need, is newly remodeled, and always kept clean. Living room is beautifully spacious and highlighted with table cloths, pillows, indoor plants and especially, a swing chair that we put up by ourselves. Chill on the swing chair, read a book while vibing with the music played from our sound system is something that makes Sunny Old Corner ain't like no others! - Sunny Old Corner has two balconies designed specially to give guests great angels to overwatch the city. Our guests love to watch Hanoi comes to life while sitting there, with a cup of hot coffee, early in the morning. - Flooring is a combination of old-fashion-inspired tiles and hardwood. Modern materials help with look, and conveniences; but the tiles help us keep the “notes", the “signature patterns" of life back-in-the-days. - On the mezzanine is our private bedroom with a double bed and two closets. A second bed is available UPON REQUEST, so please let us know! The view from our bedroom is also one of the highlighters of the house. Such a view is truly hard to find, especially when living in the middle of the bustle of Hanoi. ***WHAT’S AROUND?*** Sunny Old Corner is surrounded by a lot of famous street food vendors that have been in the city for generations. - Only a few houses away from the apartment, is the legendary chicken noodle soup called “ Pho Ga Ba Loc ” (which literally means Chicken Noodle Soup by Madam Loc). This place has been open for about 45 years, and it’s quite famous in town. Your Hanoi experience cannot be completed without an authentic bowl of Pho! - Also, there are: beef noodle soup, sticky rice, eel vermicelli soup, banh mi (bread),... within walking distances. - Oldest coffee street in Hanoi is 1 minute away from the loft. The street is full of quality cafes. Besides that, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese restaurants are also located there. - The Old Quarter can be reached within 20 minutes of walk or 5-6 minutes by Grab/Be. - 5-7 minutes of walk to beautiful Thong Nhat Park with lots of locals, a lake, trees, and air to breathe. Opposite the park, there is another gorgeous lake. - 5 minutes of walk to most famous mall center in the city (Vincom) - 2 minutes of walk to bus stops on main streets. PLEASE NOTICE: - We do have a short alleyway and a few narrow stairs before reaching the apartment. Please consider if this is convenient for you. - This is a self check-in apartment. Therefore, it’s best suitable for guests without a lot of luggages (just to avoid you moving the bags up and down the stairs). However, if you really love to stay with us, please reach out. I can try to arrange a staff to come and help you carry your luggages ^^ - Check-in is from 3pm - 11pm. - We do not have a private parking area. There are parking lots with fees nearby. My co-host and I, we are always willing to help you out. Whether it's airport pickup, recommendations for food, instructions to an equipment. Guests are very welcome to contact us through Airbnb anytime, prior and during their stay at Sunny Old Corner. We always try our best to assist guests as fast as possible, so that you are guaranteed a great experience. Sunny Old Corner lays in the heart of a typical Hanoi area. From the street-front balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floor, guests can live and breathe Hanoi spirit anytime of the day. Bright, sunny and quiet in the morning; busy, a little noisy, and full of street food vendors in the evening. - Easy to walk. Lots of street food vendors, restaurants, cafes, and also park, lakes nearby. - Convenient when using Grab/Be app to book rides. - Bus stops on main streets are 1 minute away. But buses can get crowded. - House is not suitable for heavy smoking/drinking or partying. - When moving in the house or up/down the stairs, please be mindful to keep the noise down, keep the area clean (no littering!). - I hope you love Sunny Old Corner as much as we do.
