Whale Hale is a spacious 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home proudly perched on the bluff above Queens Bath in Princeville, Kauai' where you can see and hear the ocean. From the grand entry staircase to the family friendly Great Room Space, this home was designed to suit large parties or intimate gatherings. This 3,800 square foot home has gorgeous views from every window. The upstairs area includes a full service kitchen with a gas cooktop plus another full electric range, two dishwashers and a large pantry. A center island provides plenty of work surface for multiple cooks in the kitchen. And there are granite countertops throughout. The enormous open plan airy room has a vaulted ceiling. Additionally there is a pool table for loads of indoor fun. One of the bedrooms is upstairs with an ensuite bathroom and views of the mountains, golf course, and ocean. This room has a Queen bed. The other four bedrooms are on the ground level. They comprise 2 master suites and two bedrooms with 2 single beds each. These single rooms can be converted to Kings. The single bedrooms have a separate guest bath to share. One of the master suites looks like a small studio with a private sitting area. Outdoor amenities allow you to enjoy our amazing Kauai weather and views. In the back yard, facing the ocean, is a free standing hot tub style pool with jets that can accommodate up to 12 people. There are sitting areas on all 3 decks with an outdoor living sofa set on the back lanai overlooking the ocean. The large front deck boasts views of the golf course and beach and includes lounge chairs and a large dining table with bistro umbrella. There is also a ping pong table in the garage which will allow for hours of fun - especially when we're having one of our tropical showers that keep the garden island green and lush. The whole house is yours when you book, there is space for 3 cars to park on the driveway without needing to double park. There is no parking allowed on the lawns or on the street in Princeville. There is an on Island couple (Tanya and Isaac) who manage the property for us. They will make you feel very welcome. Outdoor amenities allow you to enjoy our amazing Kauai weather and views. You will be conveniently located in the community of Princeville. Within one and a half miles are two world class golf courses, several beaches, the Princeville Shopping Center and the St. Regis Princeville Resort with its amazing restaurants and beach. A short drive in either direction allows you to enjoy all that Hanalei Bay has to offer as well as surfing, diving, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and even zip lining. There is very little public transportation on Kauai. You should book a car to get the most of your stay. Rental cars can be difficult in 2021. If you're having difficulties - I suggest using a site like Turo and renting a Kauai resident's personal car. It's a great alternative to rental car companies. Please know that there is a $150 fee to convert each twin bedroom to a King. It's a lot of work for the cleaners, but we're more than happy to do it for you.
