You will need ground transportation from Tocumen International Airport to and from our Apartment and during your stay to shop for groceries. Three, large, U.S. style supermarkets, 15 minutes away. Our onsite fine dining and beach bar are open on the weekends. Multiple pools... an infinity pool, lap pool, oceanside pool and children's pool with gorgeous tropical landscaping. Onsite poolside deck areas with chairs, tables, umbrellas and lounge chairs, two lobbies, sunset deck for cocktails. Our beach has beach chairs, tables and lounge chairs. Enjoy our onsite fine dining restaurant and beach bar open on the weekends with drink specials and special music. Via a lockbox outside my main apartment door on the 10th floor of Tower 200, you will receive a key to open the main apartment door. Inside my apartment, there will be an additional key and two elevator access cards. Upon your arrival, you will request assistance from the 24/7 concierge in Tower 100 to go up in the elevator to the 10th floor in Tower 200. Nueva Gorgona, Panama is a small, unassuming hamlet where artisanal fishing is the main occupation. At low tide, you can walk 5 minutes to the neighboring bay around the point where fishermen bring in their catch in the morning hours. Bring your own plastic bag and small bills. Their "catch of the day" can be purchased from them. This is fish as fresh as it gets. Car rental and / or a hired local driver is highly recommended. Since we are right on the beach, we are off the beaten track for commercial things like grocery stores. Three large supermarkets just 15 minutes away by car; small convenience type stores within walking distance; Apt. rental includes two parking spaces (back to back). Or else hire a driver with a car. Taxi service is available by calling or emailing them and arranging for a pick-up time. You will need to have groceries in the apartment. Our kitchen is large and fully stocked with cooking equipment, cutlery, etc. Bring your high power sunscreen, hats, cover ups and plastic sandals that can get wet. Bahia is located in the "arco seco" (dry arch). There is a lot of sun and tropical weather. Bedrooms have blackout window shades, plus decorative window treatments on top.
