Gate House is an absolutely fantastic luxurious place with breathtaking views of the Great Sound and Elys Harbour. How awesome to see beautiful sunrises at dawn and within a few minutes walk experience amazing sunsets at dusk. This house lacks nothing and is particularly great for having dinners in, grilling out, or even working remotely. All of the interior rooms are well furnished and spacious as well as the outdoor living spaces. Picture postcard perfection! Gate House is the main house and the largest that sits on a 2 acre beautifully landscaped property. There is another vacation cottage known as Lemon Drop on the estate that can be rented at the same time if requested and available. We also have another separate cottage on the property that is currently rented to a professional. The pool is shared with our registered guests and tenant. Request to have sole use of the pool can be made when wishing to have a special event. The other best features of Gate House include; High-Speed Internet and cable wired TV Channels, as well as Netflix. There are a total of 7 Televisions at Gate House, 2 Office Areas, Desks in most bedrooms and access to a guest computer and printer. There are ample parking spaces for electric rental cars with chargers on the property and parking for scooters. In all Gate House is approximately 6000 square feet. There are many indoor and outdoor special places to relax, entertain and be comfortable. You can party and or quietly slip away and have some peaceful solitude to refresh and relax. Gate House is our main home and very much loved. However, since our kids have now all grown up and living in different countries, the timing is now perfect to travel, visit and work overseas. My husband and I fortunately get to do this on a regular basis, therefore are glad to open up our home and share this beautiful property for those seeking a unique, luxurious and memorable stay. Communication is always available between ourselves and our friendly host is always on hand to assist with any help or questions as they arise. Within minutes of the property and walking distance, you have access to a dock and beach area that is only shared with our neighbors. Guests have complimentary use of the kayaks. You can kayak to idyllic small islands across the bay that is easy and safe. Morgan Island and Palm Island are close by. GateHouse is next door to Fort Scaur. This is one of Bermuda's historical must-place to visit and only a few minutes to walk to from the property. Take some refreshments and watch the sky light up with the most awesome, sunrises, moon nights, and sunsets. Guests can also borrow pedal bikes from the bike shed and hit the railway trails that are easily accessible from the garden at GateHouse. it is only about 10 minutes on the bike to reach the local supermarket and about 20 minutre cycle ride to come across beautiful Long Bay Beach & Nature Reserve, Plus Daniel's Head Beach in Somerset.
