Bright, Modern, Cozy Room in Brooklyn Artist's Apt
My cozy, bright, & stylish Brooklyn apartment is great for solo trips-- a comfortable home base for exploring NYC. You’ll love the peaceful ambiance, decor, comfy bed, quick commute, authentic Brooklyn neighborhood & Empire State Building views. Also the low cleaning fee! This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment is shared with me. You will be staying in a lovely private guest room. I live in the 2nd bedroom. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared spaces. I am very accommodating to guests’ needs. Located on a quiet, residential street, the atmosphere is calm and authentic. The building is over 100 years old, but the apartment is newly renovated. Getting around is super convenient— just 7 minutes walking to 3 subway lines! The unique location at the intersection of 3 iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods (Bed Stuy, Williamsburg, and Bushwick) allows for easy walking exploration and a quick commute to Downtown Manhattan. There are fantastic views of the Empire State Building from the guest room. The bed is very comfortable! The kitchen is fully equipped— stove, fridge, oven, french press, pans, dishes, spices, olive oil, tea & coffee. You are welcome to use all of this! (Please note I do not have a microwave.) The shower is nice and warm with good water pressure. Laundry is conveniently located in the basement. The building allows rooftop access if you would like to check out the view and enjoy the fresh air. A new public park just opened next door! Wifi Central A/C & Heating Full access to living room, kitchen, and bathroom Free street parking Rooftop access Views of Empire State Building Use of dishes and basic household items Laundry in building Towels Hair dryer Steamer for clothes 15-20 minutes to Manhattan on the subway Walking distance to Williamsburg, Bushwick + Bed Stuy Park next door If you have any questions, I am only a message away! I am well-located in Brooklyn near the Broadway Triangle. Close to the Pfizer Building. Check out my Guidebook for more local recommendations! I am a 7 min walk to THREE subway trains: Flushing G Flushing J Flushing M Only 15 min to the Lower East Side and Downtown Manhattan. It's a breeze to get anywhere. I highly recommend the Gogle Maps app for navigating the subway and walking in New York. I recommend the Lyft and Uber apps for taxis. A Citi Bike docking station is very close to my apartment-- fun way to explore! Walking to Williamsburg and Bushwick is also great way to get around and experience the neighborhoods of north Brooklyn. Read my Guidebook for recommendations on things to do in the neighborhood! It's filled with great local tips. Please keep in mind that the average cost of a hotel in NYC is $275/night. This is about 4 times the price of my guest room. I take pride in keeping my apartment clean, unique and stylish, but remember this is my home-- NOT a hotel. If you are looking for a hotel experience, this is not the place for you.
