This is the perfect spot for one or two people to stay while enjoying everything Hacienda Iguana and Colorados beach has to offer. You have access to all amenities of the community. It is located behind the ice-cream store and the grocery store at Hacienda Iguana. Staying here would mean you have access to all the amenities in the community - golf course, beach club bar and restaurant as well as the beach club pool. You get access to two world-class breaks - Panga Drops and Colorados! No need to walk an hour from Gigante! This loft is located behind a gym, so music gym can be heard during class hours We can add extra mattress for the third person. If you have three people in your group, there would be an extra $20 charge. We live in Hacienda Iguana, just around the corner. We will always be happy to help you with any activities you need to book, requests, etc. Hacienda Iguana is most well known to surfers as it is the community that boasts the world famous surf break, Colorados, as well as 2 other breaks, Panga Drops and Los Perros Point but is truly a wonderful vacation spot for anyone. Hacienda Iguana's 3 kilometer beach is absolutely gorgeous and there is a 9 hole golf course within the community. Activities available in the area include; massage, yoga, surf trips by boat or taxi, surf lessons, fishing, horseback riding, snorkeling, kayaking, SUPing, hiking, bike rental, moped rentals, moto rentals, catamaran tours, transportation and/or day trips to get a taste of culture in the surrounding cities or to go visit volcanoes, crater lakes and other natural attractions throughout southern Nicaragua. Within the community of Hacienda Iguana there are currently three restaurants. The restaurant at the beach club serves healthy and delicious plates for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a great beach bar with happy hour specials. Don Eloy’s bar and restaurant serves sandwiches, wings, bar food and pizza, has a full bar and is open for lunch and dinner. This is also a great place to watch sports games. Scoops and Spokes is an artisan ice cream , coffee and panini shop that also offers bike rentals and tours. Don Eloys and Scoops and Spokes are located in Iguana’s growing commercial center where you will also find the NSR Surf Shop, spa, taco shop, 2 markets, ATM and Side Bar serving delicious craft beer and stir-fry bowls. We offer 2 complimentary bikes to use . This is a great way to access surf breaks, the beach club, restaurant and bar, the Golf Pro Shop and/or Iguana's Commercial center Just outside of Iguana’s gates (3km away) there is the new Rivera Market Place with an Avis Car Rental Company, BAC Bank Branch and ATM, Rivera Market/Grocery Store and Board Port Surf Shop, surfboard storage and sales. There are a multitude of other great restaurants within a 15-20 minute drive from Hacienda Iguana We are located 40 minutes drive from Rivas or 2.5 hours from Managua. We can organize you a taxi at any time day or night so you can get here safely. There is also now an option of flying in from Managua or Costa Rica (Liberia, San Jose) to La Costa Esmeralda airport which is only 10 minutes away from us.
