Within walking distance of the beach, Birch Bay State Park, as well as multiple shops and restaurants. Open layout with many windows for natural light. Private rooftop deck offers amazing views of Birch Bay, mountains, and prairies behind. Very cozy place with a lot of character. Single level home with an attached garage and rooftop deck. Spacious living room and kitchen area. Many appealing features of the area are within walking distance of the house. Semiahmoo resort just a short drive away, as well as the Birch Bay waterslides during the summer. Single car garage for those with more compact vehicles, otherwise there is driveway and street parking. I live and work about 25 minutes away in Bellingham, WA. I like giving guests their privacy but if needed, I can certainly be available. I do work full time in addition to hosting this listing so on days I work I can still be reached by phone and will be there in person as soon as possible. You're sure to meet friendly neighbors all around. The ocean is within sight and walking distance. There are multiple shops and restaurants nearby as well, my favorite being the C-store (bright yellow building selling ice cream, quick eats, and other treats) which is just down the road. There are multiple fields and prairies surrounding the general area, some of which serve as great locations for off leash dog activities (Dog owners: just ask and I will gladly direct you to them). About a block away is Birch Bay Dr. which features a walking/biking path perfect for taking in the scenery along the bay. House parking is available in the driveway, in front of the residence, and in the garage upon request (garage may be in use for light storage if not). If you are visiting the ocean you will find parking wherever there is public beach access. Birch Bay is a very bike friendly neighborhood, and certain amenities are within walking distance. There is a bus line just a block away providing access to other necessities, otherwise anything else you might need is just a short drive away.
