This unit has more space and privacy for relaxing in the sun. Fully equipped kitchen and nicely upgraded interior. Easy walking distance to all wonderful west end beaches, pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and BBQ's. Unit has cable TV and Wifi. Short walk to Papohaku Beach, the longest white sand beach in the state of HI. Kepuhi Beach is a short walk. It is great for surfing in the winter and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer. Just a short walk south is Papohaku Beach, the longest white sand beach in the state of Hawaii. A short walk to the north brings you to Make Horse Beach with lots of little tide pools for exploring. It is only about a 5 minute drive to Maunaloa town, the only town on the West End. It is about a 15 minute drive to the airport. 20 minutes takes you to the Cook House restaurant (with indoor and outdoor seating), the Coffee Plantation, and Coffees of Hawaii (which has a coffee bar/cafe and a gift shop). Kaunakakai Town is about a 30 minute drive. That is where most of the grocery stores, art/gift shops, mini markets, restaurants, ice cream parlor, equipment rentals and the county offices are located. Further along the main road is the East End of Molokai with great little beaches, ancient fish ponds, and a small market with takeout food. Further east is Halawa Valley, a good 75 minute drive from the West End. There are many things to see and do on Molokai including taking a mule ride to Kalaupapa and hiking to Moaula Falls. If you like to paddle, kayak, or stand up board and paddle let us know as we might be able to assist. Molokai is about entertaining yourselves, although Hotel Molokai on a Friday Night is entertaining in and of itself! Televisions come with cable channels. A private neighborhood 5 minutes walk to Kepuhi beach Before heading to the condo, if you have time, pls stop by at the store. There is only one nearby store at the condo and they close at 5:00PM . There were two complete grocery stores in town where you can buy what you needed. Friendly market is close on Saturday while Misakis is open half day and close Sunday. For produce specially papaya, KUMU farms is on the way to condo. You will see a sign along the road. I believe they are close Saturday till Monday. If you dont see that small sign on the right side going to town, that means they are close. Again this Island is not in MAUI . Be prepare not to see a high rise buildings and lots of bars and restaurants. When it comes to relaxing, this is the place for you. Again the eastside of Molokai is a lot different from Westside. This is the wet area of the island . Its beautiful specially going to Halawa Valley. I would prefer to go there on the weekdays rather than weekends because weekdays is LOCAL day. They can be unfriendly and I dont want anyone of our guests to experience that. We have to understand that this is the only time where they can enjoy by themselves the Island so lets respect that. If you prefer to go on the weekends, just be respectful and friendly.
