The building has elevator service, 24/7 security and open parking. Guests will be provided with a pool key which will also give them access to the area in front of the complex after pool hours. Starter kit , including hand soaps, paper towels, toilet papers, dishwashing and laundry detergent will be provided. Guests should bring own personal items such as shampoo and conditioner. Guests are expected to purchase additional supplies for longer stay We are successful vacation rental owners on 3 of the Hawaiian island (Big Island, Kauai and Maui). We understand our guests' need for privacy very well while anticipating their wants and needs to ensure that they have a wonderful stay with us. All guests will have access to our personal cell number for contact if needed at booking and after. Our local housekeeping and maintenance staff can be available within hours if needed. Maalaea Banyans is likely the best kept secret on Maui. Centrally located near the Maui Aquarium and Harbor where island tours depart - Maalaea is 5 minute walk to Sugar Beach, a 6 mile long quiet beach and the Kealia wetland wildlife reserve beyond. Both are easily accessible through nearby Haycraft Park with an easy walk past a sugarcane field. We have perhaps the best weather on Maui as we receive the cooling trade winds but generally get spared the rain reserved for the wetter north and east sides of the island. While Maalaea Banyans is centrally located, in order to explore all of Maui has to offer - we strongly advise rental cars. Those who prefer a slower way to explore the locales - bicycle rentals are also available nearly in North Kihei It is traveler’s responsibility to accurately report the number of guests for the reservation. Failure to do so at booking (if not corrected prior to check in) will result in a fine of $300 in addition to the extra guest charge as per published rates.
