Our Cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Views of the lake from every window! Enjoy the gas fireplace with a good book, prepare a meal in the nicely equipped kitchen & just enjoy some quiet time. We are on a quiet swimming & fishing lake. We have a Pontoon Boat available for Rent. Have a quilting/craft Retreat! You will be just blocks from downtown Alexandria allowing you to take in the shopping, dining, museums & Central BikeTrail. We are close to everything, yet private & quiet! The Cottage is a special place. It’s charm and cozy feeling will be enjoyed by all. As you enter The Cottage you come into the Kitchen which is supplied with dishes, glasses, cookware, utensils, spices and all you should need for your meal preparation. Continuing into The Cottage you see the Dining room with ample seating for 6 and then the big beautiful Sun Room with spectacular views of the Lake. The Sun Room features a gas fireplace, 2 large sectional couches to stretch out on. There is also a 42” Smart TV. We also offer WIFI access to our guests. This room is also perfect for a quilting/craft Retreat. We will set up the tables for you! This main level also offers a Bedroom with Queen bed, Laundry room and Full Bathroom. The Deck is straight out the front of the house with Wonderful Views of the Lake! On the Deck we have table, chairs, umbrella and Gas Grill. Next is the Loft area. At the top of the stairs is The Loft which features 2 Queen Beds and a set of Bunk Beds. There is a wonderful view of the Lake from this vantage point as well, sit & enjoy a morning cup of coffee. In addition, The Loft has a Playhouse Room. The Playhouse Room is tucked under the roof line and very comfortable for kids to relax and play. We have a table and chairs and games and books to keep the kids busy. The Lower Level is a Walkout and has 1 Bedroom with Full bed, a 3/4 Bathroom and Rec Room. The Rec Room features a Pool Table w/Air Hockey and Table Tennis. And, there is a second refrigerator for pop and beer in this lower level. From here you can walk out to the Lake and our cement patio with chairs and gas firepit. Guest have access to 3 levels with private entrance. Douglas County License #2040 allows up to 9 people overnight. The house is divided into 2 units. We will be in our Unit and available if you need us. Otherwise, we will not bother you. Lakeside neighborhood, quiet and private, yet close to everything! Please drive slowly down Bethesda Street and watch for children, etc. We are easily found and close to everything! We have 4 available parking spots. We have a pontoon boat available for an additional charge to individuals with boating experience. Please ask about availability. We can set up tables for a quilting/crafting RETREAT! We also have 4 Kayaks with paddles to use. Bring your bikes for the Central Lakes State Trail.
