Enjoy a comfy retreat in this modern house nestled in the valley of Beit Chabeb, one of the largest villages in the Metn district located around 24 km north of Beirut. This lovely space is made to unwind and relax, and it can welcome families and groups of friends for short and long stays. Just indulge in the comfort and tranquility of this charming house, lovely garden, and breathtaking view. The space includes: - Wonderful panoramic view of the Bikfaya mountain. - An open-plan living room with a sofa bed, a fire place and a TV. - Fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. - Bedroom 1 with a double bed. - Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds. - 2 Full Bathrooms. - A beautiful outdoor patio and garden overlooking splendid view. Guests will enjoy access to the entire house, the patio, and the private garden. Please, make yourself at home! I am always available during your stay. Head out and wander through the nearby farmers’ market and pick up local ingredients to later craft a meal in the fully stocked kitchen. You’ll find also a variety of restaurants and shops in nearby villages, like Bikfaya. You can reach Zaarour village, one of the most famous ski destinations in Lebanon, withing 20 min by car. Beit Chabeb is a typical Lebanese village, it has preserved its traditional aspect through the generations. It is highly recommended to go on a walk to explore the tiny streets of the old village and admire the architecture of authentic traditional houses and old churches. There are also great trails for hiking nearby. Beit Chabeb is particularly famous for its traditional crafts of pottery, weaving and bellfounding, a very old craft introduced in Lebanon by the Russians in 1700. It has the only bell foundry in Lebanon and exports its bells to Jordan and Syria. Guests can arrive by car or taxi. I am flexible with the check-in and Check-out times, depending on the availability of the house. Additional charges will apply in case guests are organising events " parties, weddings, birthdays, proposal etc..." and inviting more than 5 people. The extra fees will be discussed with the host apart.
