There is famous and safe surf point known as “Pelena beach” is nearly 200-300m away from Weligama beach towards Matara direction. All facilities and equipment and training assistance are available at there. This is 100m away from surf point and 10 min to whale watching paradise. Famous Mirissa beach is also well known for surfing which you can go by a Tuk Tuk within 10 minutes from the guest or you can get a bus from bus stand Weligama.
