Kaimu Beach is an easy 20 minute hike from Uncles Awa Bar. Puna also has periodic lava flows from Kilauea Volcano , the Hawaiian jungles, tropical rain forests, beautiful coastal views, This is also the place for water lovers and we have what you need : snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, noodles for your swimming pleasure... You can easily navigate the beaches from the house, it has come to be a very popular spot 'right in the center of all of these attractions'. Now, for those of you who are seeking night time entertainment, check out 'Uncles Tiki Bar' if you want to sip a beer and listen to live Hawaiian/Jawaiian/Country music..just down the road from us. A farmers market w/ live music, dancing is available every Wednesday 3.5 miles away. We have 'PACK & PLAY ON THE GO CRIB' for little ones. Washer/dryer, internet, phone, Direct TV and outdoor barbecues. You will love it here! Guests have access to most of this 'large building' that has 2 private studios on the side of it. Nobody shares or has access to your space so it is completely private. We are close by and are available for any needs/questions. This is a remote and beautiful coastal community called Kalapana Seaview Estates close to several black sand beaches & walking distance to the ocean and Kehena Black Sand Beach. We recommend renting a car. We rent 'well maintained bikes too (includes helmet and lights).
