Eden Island is a stunning development providing luxurious facilities in a truly magnificent setting. Located 7 km from the airport and 4 km from the ferry terminals, Eden Island is perfectly positioned as a base for further exploration of Mahe, Praslin. La Digue and the other 115 islands that make up the Seychelles An electrically driven golf cart is provided for your convenience in moving around the Eden Island Resort but can only be driven persons holding a valid driving license. Badamier 14, now fully health certified to take catetory 1 guests, is located on the Eden Island Resort Development. It is a luxury self catering, first floor, one bedroom apartment which faces the verdant granite peaks of Mahe and overlooks the azure waters of Basin 1 marina. The large bedroom, complete with a king size bed and ensuite dressing /shower area, is beautifully furnished in timber and stone and fully airconditioned. The sitting room is furnished with a pull out sofa to sleep 2 additional residents and the fully functional kitchen/dining area, with seating for 4, is equipped with high end appliances. A generous balcony equipped with outdoor furniture and a Weber BBQ is ideal for a relaxing sundowner. After check in at the VMA, which includes the taking of a digital fingerprint for automatic access to the Island as well as a driving license check should the guests wish to use the electric buggy, the guests will be taken to the apartment. The guests will be introduced to the apartment and informed as to the general rules that apply on Eden Island. The owners, or their representatives, will be available to advise on possible activities on Mahe and on tours or trips around the island. An information booklet and brochures are provided at the apartment. Guests can spend their entire time on Eden Island as all necessary facilities are available on the Island and in the Eden Island Mall. Should the guests wish to explore the island, taxis are available at the Eden Island Mall but transportation can be expensive. Car hire is available, again generally expensive but recommended for those who wish to explore the many beaches and some of the more inaccessible areas of the island. Local buses are available and are very cheap, however schedules can be a little variable at times and long trips to the south of the island would not be recommended. The owners can help with car hire at reasonable rates (for Seychelles) if sufficient notice is provided as well as airport pickup services. A Wifi connection and DSTV cable TV are included in the price of the apartment. A weekly cleaning service is available and is included in the apartment rental for rentals longer than 1 week, although a washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities are also available in the apartment laundry area.
