Kona Makai is an oceanfront condominium complex of about 100 one and two bedroom units located one mile from the beautiful town of Kailua-Kona.



This absolute direct oceanfront unit has waves breaking right onto the lava below the lanai. This fully updated unit comes with two bedroom suites, each with it’s own private bathroom. The Master bedroom has a king size bed with a glass walk in shower with rainfall showerhead in the bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a full tub/shower combination in the bathroom. Both bedrooms have sliding doors that open directly onto the wrap around lanai. In addition there is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.

Explore downtown historic Kailua Kona.  The town of Kailua Kona "hides" some very important Hawaii Island historic spots. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Alii Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel until his passing in 1819. The Ahuena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by Kamehameha himself and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.



Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Kona Pier, with access to Hawaii’s best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching.  Visit the famous Farmer's Market.
